Introduction to FaceTite

Your skin tells a story about your life and experiences, but like with any tale, edits are essential. While no one wants to lose the memories of a life well lived, we don’t have to keep the wrinkles, fine lines, or sagging skin that share those stories with everyone else. At Subbio Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa in Philadelphia, we can help our patients achieve this with FaceTite, a new technology that uses radio frequency energy to tighten and contour the skin through a minimally invasive procedure. If you would like to know more about how to achieve more youthful-looking skin with FaceTite, please keep reading the information we have provided below.

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is an innovative and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation procedure that uses advanced radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to melt fat and tighten skin. The word “FaceTite” refers to the use of this technology to address the lower face, jowls, and jawline region. This procedure can produce dramatic improvement in skin laxity on your face and neck and achieve results that were previously attainable only through surgery.

FaceTite is a safe way to get optimal tightening results without removing skin with no concerns of nerve injury. This treatment can even tighten areas that even a face and neck lift has difficulty addressing.

FaceTite can help treat the following areas:

  • Cheeks
  • Jowls
  • Nasolabial folds (lines around the nose and mouth; laugh lines)
  • Neck
  • Periorbital region (around the eyes; brows, eyelids)
  • Submental region (under chin)

During the treatment, a thin cannula will be passed through a tiny needle-sized hole in the skin, emitting energy that stimulates this tightening and contraction in the desired areas. The nasolabial folds and submental (under the chin) areas can also be addressed at the same time.

What are the Benefits of FaceTite?

FaceTite is a fantastic treatment for renewed skin and our Philadelphia patients have seen the following benefits from their treatment:

  • Achieves smoother, slimmer, more attractive facial appearance
  • Creates a slimmer silhouette
  • Long-lasting results with a single treatment
  • Minimally invasive
  • Promotes your body’s natural production of collagen
  • Shorter recovery period
  • Tightens loose skin

Who are the Best Candidates for a FaceTite procedure?

FaceTite is great for anyone who is looking to dramatically improve the laxity of the skin on their face and neck. At Subbio Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa, we believe the best candidates for FaceTite are those in their late 30s to early 50s with the following characteristics:

  • Loss of jawline and neck definition
  • Mild to moderate signs of facial aging (i.e. sagging skin of the face and neck)
  • Unwanted fat deposits in the jowls and underneath the chin

A few additional qualities our potential candidates may have include:

  • Are not interested in repeating a major surgery with a general anesthetic
  • May have already undergone a face and neck lift, but redeveloped face and neck laxity over the years
  • Keep a positive attitude throughout treatment and recovery
  • Maintain realistic expectations for treatment results
  • Uncomfortable with invasive surgical procedures that require extensive incisions and general anesthesia

What’s the First Step?

The first step in getting FaceTite in Philadelphia is to contact Subbio Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa and schedule your consultation. During this appointment, you will meet with your provider who will ask you a series of questions regarding your medical history to prevent any potential risks during your treatment or recovery.

You will be able to express your desires from the procedure and ask any questions you may have. The area you’re interested in treating will be examined and we will create a treatment plan for you. If you agree with this plan, then you will meet with our Patient Coordinator and schedule your treatment date.

What to Expect on the Day of FaceTite Treatment

On the day of your FaceTite procedure, we aim to make you feel relaxed and confident in a boutique spa setting. FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anesthesia or light sedation.

Once the tissues are numb, Dr. Subbio will use the FaceTite handpiece to heat the tissues to a predetermined temperature that is optimal for melting fat and tightening the tissues while minimizing the risk of skin burns. When complete, we provide a compression garment that is required to achieve the best results.

The FaceTite procedure takes around 45 minutes, and you’re free to return home afterward.

FaceTite Recovery

FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure that does not require a long period of recovery afterward. Patients can expect a short recovery period and return to their normal daily activities within a few days after the treatment. Strenuous activity should be avoided during the first few days to limit swelling and bruising.

An elastic bandage is worn for the first 3-4 days, then at night only for another 7 days. We’ll provide you with post-treatment instructions that will help guide you through the recovery process and assist in providing you with the best results possible.

How Much Does FaceTite Cost in Philadelphia?

The cost of FaceTite in Philadelphia is determined by several factors but primarily by the extent of your treatment. After meeting with the technician and they can examine the treated area, our Patient Coordinator will be able to give you a full breakdown of the total price of your treatment.
